Conner F. Murphy of Millbrook Inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society

SPRINGFIELD, MA (05/07/2019)– Conner F. Murphy of Millbrook (12545) was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society of AACSB-accredited business schools, at a ceremony conducted by the Western New England Chapter officers. The banquet, held April 18, 2019, at the Log Cabin in Holyoke, was attended by over 100 students, guests, College of Business faculty and staff, Dean Rob Kleine, Provost Linda Jones, and President Anthony Caprio, in addition to several members of the College of Business Advisory Board.

The keynote speaker was Janet Johnson Bullard, ’69, Owner, President and Registered Investment Advisor at A.T. Whitehead, Inc., who was also inducted into BGS as an honorary member.

Beta Gamma Sigma is a national honor society for business majors at schools accredited by AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Students are selected from the top 7% of juniors, top 10% of seniors and to 20% of graduate students. Candidates must have completed two semesters of study at Western New England University.

Murphy is majoring in Sport Management.
