YORKTOWN WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED

Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. reports the arrest of a Yorktown woman for Driving While Intoxicated. On April, 30, 2019, at approximately 4:25 p.m., Deputy Shawn Iarussi responded to Wood Street, located in the Town of Putnam Valley, for a report of a one-car property damage auto accident. Upon arrival, Deputy Iarussi observed a gray Honda, off the road, with damage to two tires and the entire undercarriage. Deputy Iarussi made contact with the vehicle’s driver, Jacqueline Driscoll, age 26, of Yorktown. A subsequent investigation revealed that Ms. Driscoll was allegedly intoxicated. Ms. Driscoll was placed under arrest, transported to the Putnam County Correctional Facility for arrest processing. She was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, (Misdemeanor), and Driving While Intoxicated- Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Blood Alcohol Content of .08 or more (Misdemeanor). Ms. Driscoll was issued an appearance ticket and released on her own recognizance, pending a future court date in the Town of Putnam Valley Justice Court.
