Marcus Garnot of Millbrook and Gabrielle Stoetzner of Amenia inducted into the Tau Sigma National Honor Society

ONEONTA, NY (05/02/2019)– Sixty one SUNY Oneonta students were recently inducted into the Tau Sigma National Honor Society, which is designed exclusively for transfer students. The mission of the organization is to recognize and promote the academic excellence and involvement of transfer students. The minimum academic average required for membership is either a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent thereof) or an academic average that places the prospective candidate in the top 20 percent of all incoming transfer students during their incoming semester.

Gabrielle Stoetzner of Amenia (12501)

Located in the Leatherstocking Region of New York State, SUNY Oneonta is a mid-size, public, liberal arts and sciences college with a pre-professional focus. The college enrolls approximately 6,000 students in a wide variety of bachelor’s degree programs and a number of graduate certificates and degrees.
