Local Students Receive SUNY Oneonta Scholarships

ONEONTA, NY (05/01/2019)– More than 700 students have been awarded scholarships at the annual scholarship dinner held on April 4. SUNY Oneonta’s scholarship funds total over $60 million and are the result of contributions from donors, corporations and foundations. It is the largest endowment among SUNY comprehensive four-year colleges.

Alexandria Cropley of Dover Plains, NY – Janet Perna ’70 Women in Technology Scholarship

Kassandra Erickson of Clinton Corners, NY  – College Foundation 25th Anniversary Scholarship for Academic Excellence

Marcus Garnot of Millbrook, NY – Dorothy A. Wemple ’36 Scholarship

Elizabeth Holmes of Pine Plains, NY  – Alumni Association Scholarship, Alumni Association 9/11 Memorial Scholarship and Vincent F. Foti ’57, ’60G Scholarship

Kevin Knox of Stormville, NY  – James L. and Gladys T. Alex Mathematics Scholarship, Dr. Charles T.P. Wang Scholarship and Alumni Association Scholarship

Jena Lieto of Wingdale, NY  – Dorothy A. Wemple ’36 Scholarship

Victoria Mylock of Dover Plains, NY – John S. Kalb ’67 Scholarship

Emma Noyes of Poughquag, NY  – Jean Parish Scholarship for Art

Frederick Pachonka of Patterson, NY  – Dr. John C. Kotz Fund for Innovations in the Sciences

Jaime Talamo of Patterson, New York  – Janet Perna ’70 Women in Technology Scholarship
