Pleasant Valley man arrested for falsifying Family Court documents

PRESS RELEASE
Poughkeepsie, New York – On April 18, 2019, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Christopher Zambas, age 31, of Pleasant Valley, for Falsifying Business Records in the 1st degree, a class E felony, and Providing a False Sworn Statement in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor.

On April 12, 2019, the State Police received a complaint of suspicious documents filed with a government organization.  An investigation found Zambas falsified Family Court documents alleging abusive and violent behavior on the part of the victim.

Zambas was arraigned before the town of Clinton Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or secured bond.  Zambas is next scheduled to appear before the city of Poughkeepsie Court on April 22, 2019, at 9:00 a.m.
