Dolores Ann Bossuet, 86, passed away at her home in Newtown, CT on Monday, April 15, 2019.
A resident of Newtown since 1962, she was born in Bridgeport, CT on November 29. 1932, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Estelle (Schumann) Burout and wife of the last Robert E. Bossuet, who predeceased her on November 2, 2010.
Before retiring, Dolores worked at Grolier, a book publishing company, in Danbury, CT.
Dolores was very kind and compassionate and always reminded everyone to look for the good in others. She loved animals, especially her dog, Wilma, and spending time with her family. But above all, her two grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie L. Patchey and son-in-law Jan H. Patchey, her two grandchildren, Christopher & Brittany Patchey of Pawling, and her son, Lee Bossuet of Newtown, CT; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Alice Clarkson, and brother, Charles Burout.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at St. John’s Church, 39 East Main Street, Pawling, NY at 10 AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
