State Police in Troop K removes eighteen impaired drivers from public roadways over April 20th, 2019, weekend.

On April 20, 2019, State Police from SP Wappinger arrested Joseph D. Corti, age 40, of Pawling, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on West Main Street in the village of Pawling, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On April 20, 2019, State Police from SP Poughkeepsie arrested an eighteen-year-old, for DWI. The suspect was traveling on State Route 44 in the town of Poughkeepsie, and stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that the suspect was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On April 20, 2019, State Police from SP Stormville arrested Anthony L. Christiana, age 22, of Poughkeepsie, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Kent, when he was involved in a one car motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On April 20, 2019, State Police from SP East Fishkill arrested Carlos V. Ludisaca Yungasaca, age 27, of Danbury, CT, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Southeast, when he was found parked on the shoulder of the controlled access highway. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On April 20, 2019, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Ramiro Castillo Puntiel, age 35, of Yonkers, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in the town of Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On April 20, 2019, State Police from SP Poughkeepsie arrested Teven A. Daley, age 24, of Kingston, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on Academy Street in the city of Poughkeepsie, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On April 21, 2019, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Gentian Dushi, age 44, of Queens, NY, for Aggravated DWI Leandra’s Law, a class E felony. He was traveling on Milltown Road in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol with a child in the vehicle, and was subsequently arrested.
On April 21, 2019, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Jose D. Aguirre Portillo, age 30, of Southeast, NY, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on North Main Street in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On April 21, 2019, State Police from SP Stormville arrested Sarah L. Santiago, age 22, of Poughkeepsie, NY, for DWI. She was found parked in the lane of travel on State Route 376 in the town of Wappinger in her vehicle. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On April 21, 2019, State Police from SP East Fishkill arrested Silvia M. Ralph, age 57, of Yonkers, NY, for DWI. She was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Fishkill, when she was found sleeping on the shoulder. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On April 21, 2019, State Police from SP Wappinger arrested Eric J. Lopez, age 22, of Pawling, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on Game Farm Road in the town of Pawling, when he was involved in a one-car motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On April 21, 2019, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Elvis I. Vele, age 23, of Peekskill, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on Dutch Street in the town of Cortlandt, when he was involved in a one-car motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On April 21, 2019, State Police from SP Livingston arrested Adam F. Donegan, age 29, of Brooklyn, NY, for DWAI Drugs, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7thdegree, and Obstruction of Governmental Administration, all misdemeanors. He was traveling on State Route 82 in the town of Taghkanic, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs, and was subsequently arrested. Donegan additionally attempted to prevent a search of his vehicle which yielded approximately 5 grams of marijuana, and one vial of concentrated cannabis.
On April 21, 2019, State Police from SP Stormville arrested Gerald Delosh, age 26, of Watertown, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Putnam Valley, when he was involved in a one car motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On April 21, 2019, State Police from SP Livingston arrested Carl J. Sprague, age 57, of Stockbridge, MA, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on State Route 23 in the town of Hillsdale, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On April 21, 2019, State Police from SP Wappinger arrested Ezequiel J. Laracuente Garcia, age 24, of Hopewell Junction, NY, for Aggravated DWI Leandra’s Law, a class E felony. He was arrested after arriving at the designated exchange location on Main Street in the village of Fishkill, with his child for custody exchange. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol with the child in the vehicle.
On April 21, 2019, State Police from SP Kinderhook arrested Edwin H. Garcia Lopez, age 28, of Coxsackie, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Farm Road in the town of Kinderhook, when he was involved in a one car motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
