Smart Fundraising for Nonprofit Boards on May 10
Regional board members from nonprofits of all sizes are invited to attend “Smart Fundraising for Nonprofit Boards” on Friday, May 10, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Town Grove Senior Community Building in Lakeville, Conn. Gayle L. Gifford, a nationally known consultant and author, will help board members be more effective in their roles as fundraising volunteers and offer guidance as they think critically about fund development at their nonprofits. Attendees will work in small groups with peers from across the four-county region of Berkshire, Columbia, northeast Dutchess and northwest Litchfield counties.
This event is part of a new series of Board Leadership Seminars presented by Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation and the Foundation for Community Health. Tickets are $35 per person. Registration is now open at SmartFundraising.Eventbrite.com.
