State Police and Pound Ridge Police investigate a reported robbery

Pound Ridge, New York – On April 12, 2019, the New York State Police and the Pound Ridge Police Department investigated a reported robbery in Westchester County.
The Pound Ridge Police Department and the New York State Police from Somers responded to a report of a robbery at approximately 7:05 a.m., where the victim claimed that they were assaulted by a male subject who then stole property from them. The investigation determined that the 16-year-old victim fabricated the series of events and falsely reported the robbery.
The investigation remains ongoing, and an update will be provided upon completion.
