Three from Pittsfield arrested following traffic stop

Milan, New York – On April 5, 2019, the New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested three subjects from Pittsfield, Massachusetts, following a traffic stop.

Myajay Eugene, age 22, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, a class B felony, and for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Jerome Grandson, age 30, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Jennifer Hill, age 39, was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, an unclassified misdemeanor.

At approximately 1:30 a.m., Troopers conducted a vehicle and traffic stop of a 2004 Chevrolet Impala on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Milan for an infraction of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation found a small amount of concentrated marijuana possessed by Grandson.  Further investigation discovered approximately 26 grams of crack-cocaine, and a glass smoking pipe possessed by Eugene.  The vehicle operator, Hill, was also operating with a suspended license.

Grandson and Hill were issued the appropriate uniform traffic tickets and appearance tickets returnable to the town of Milan Court on April 5, 2019, at 8:00 a.m.

Eugene was arraigned before the town of Milan Court, and remanded by the Honorable Judge Mattson to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $7,500 cash bail or $15,000 secure bond.  Eugene is next scheduled to reappear before the Court on April 9, 2019, at 11:00 a.m.
