Ossining man arrested for Aggravated DWI

Croton-on-Hudson, New York – On March 21, 2019, the New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Diego F. Aucapina Jarama, age 34, of Ossining, NY, for Aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1^st degree, a class E felony.

At approximately 3:25 a.m., Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado on State Route 9 in the village of Croton-on-Hudson for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  An investigation found the operator, Diego Aucapina Jarama, was driving while intoxicated.  His license was also found to be suspended due to a previous arrest for DWI.

Aucapina Jarama was arraigned before the town of Cortlandt Court, and remanded by the Honorable Judge McCarthy to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or secure bond.  Aucapina Jarama is next scheduled to appear before the village of Croton-on-Hudson Court on March 27, 2019, at 9:00 a.m.
