This popular event is first-come, first-served and open only to Dutchess County residents. Registration is limited to the first 360 households; pre-registration is required for this event, and there is a $10 registration fee.

Our Hazardous Household Waste & Electronics Recycling Events in the summer and fall routinely sell out, so register for this month’s event to ensure you can beat the crowds and safely dispose of your refuse.

Residents can register online or by calling (845) 463-6020. The County’s Household Hazardous Waste Disposal & Electronics Recycling Events provide residents with a safe and responsible way to discard a diverse range of household items that cannot be disposed of through regular recycling or garbage bins. Acceptable items include television sets, computer monitors, telephones, pesticides, pool chemicals, and more. A complete list of acceptable items to bring to this disposal day is available online

We hope you can attend this month’s event and help Dutchess County reach its ambitious recycling goals!
