Kingston man arrested for Burglary 2nd Degree

State Police in Kingston received a complaint from an elderly female in the town of Hurley reporting that a male subject had entered her residence illegally and stolen money from her on several occasions.  The victim also reported to the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) that she observed the suspect doing so on her in the home security camera.

On March 12, 2019, State Police Kingston arrested Eric Tischler age 42, of Kingston, NY for Burglary 2nd degree, a Class C Felony (1 count), Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st degree, a Class C Felony (1 count), and Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor (4 counts).

Eric Tischler was arraigned in the Town of Hurley Court and released on his own recognizance to appear at a later date.
