Olympia Chapman Reid passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at the Beth Abraham Hospital in the Bronx at the age of 77.
A former resident of Cambria Heights, NY, she was born July 9, 1941 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Benjamin D. and Emily (Stanfield) Chapman.
Olympia received her Associates Degree from Queens College and was a social worker for the Department of Social Services in New York City.
She is survived by her two children, Ronald B. Reid of Land o Lakes, FL and Sabrina Hill of Birmingham, AL, and four grandchildren, Michael Dixon, Lauren Hill, and Carolyn & Devin Reid.
Family and friends may pay their respects this Sunday, March 17th at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling from 2-4 PM. Burial will be Monday at 12 noon at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, NY.
