Pauline Marion Lundelius, of Patterson, NY, died peacefully on March 1, 2019 at Waterview Hills Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was 79 years old.
Born on December 12, 1939, in Ossining, NY, daughter to the late James and Mary (Meyers) Wood. Marion attended the Mahopac Schools.
On October 12, 1957, she married the love of her life Paul Lundelius Jr. at the Presbyterian Church in Mahopac Falls, NY. Paul predeceased his wife on September 11, 2016.
A resident of Patterson since 1958, Marion was a clerk with the United State Post Office working in Patterson and retired in 1992 at the age of 52. She was an avid Yankee and NASCAR fan. Marion had a love for cardinals and collected all things Cardinals.
Marion is survived by her daughter; Patricia Ann Schwerkolt of Patterson, NY, and her son, John Lundelius of Pawling, NY, her sister-in-law Evelyn Armistead and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at 7 pm at Dwyer Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Patterson, NY. Friends may call prior to the service from 4pm-7pm at the Funeral Home. A private cremation will take place at the convenience of the family. www.dwyerfuneralhome.com
