Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. reports the arrest of a Fishkill man for Petit Larceny. On February 13, 2019, at approximately 4:09 pm, Deputy Christopher Tompkins responded to ARC of Putnam (PARC), located at 575 Drewville Road, in the Town of Carmel, for a larceny report. Upon arriving Deputy Tompkins learned that money, belonging to PARC and several residents of the PARC housing, in the Town of Carmel, was missing from the “house safe”. A subsequent investigation revealed that an assistant manager of the PARC residence, James Haggerty Jr., age 37, of Fishkill , had taken the money without permission. Deputy Tompkins placed Mr. Haggerty under arrest for Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor). Mr. Haggerty was processed and released on an appearance ticket.
