Obituary for Robert Allen Spaulding
Millerton – Robert Allen Spaulding, 85, a lifelong area resident, most recently of Noble Horizons in Salisbury, CT died peacefully on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at Noble Horizons. Mr. Spaulding was a professional well driller for Floods Well Drilling in Millerton, NY for over forty years.
Born November 4, 1933, in Millerton, he was the son of the late Willard and Alice (Coons), Spaulding. Bob attended school locally and served his country honorably in the United States Army from1952 to1954. He married Alice Lovett, Mrs. Spaulding passed away in 2009.
Mr. Spaulding is survived by two daughters, Patricia Ackerman of Millerton and Cindy Howe and her husband Peter of Virginia and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by a son, Robert Allen Spaulding, Jr. of Beulaville, NC and his sister Linda Hamlin of Millerton.
