Million-Selling Singer/Songwriter Dar Williams to Lecture at DCC

February 25, 2019 – Dar Williams, a singer/songwriter who has sold over one million albums in her almost 30 years as a musician, will give a Lyceum talk at Dutchess Community College on March 5 at 12:30 p.m. in the James and Betty Hall Theatre.

Williams will share how she gained media literacy and cultural awareness while building a career that has included 10 folk-pop studio albums and over 2,000 shows. She has been called “one of America’s very best singer-songwriters” by The New Yorker magazine.

The presentation, part of DCC’s celebration of Women’s History Month, is a free community event.
