New York State Police – Dover Plains arrest man for DWI, with B.A.C. almost four times legal limit
Dover Plains, New York – On April 4, 2015, New York State Police from the Dover Plains barracks charged 57 year-old Michael P. Cowan, of Wingdale, New York, with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.
Troopers stopped Cowan for failing to maintain his lane of travel. Troopers determined through investigation that Cowan was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition.
Cowan subsequently provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .30%, more than three times the legal limit of intoxication.
Cowan was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the Town of Dover Justice Court on April 9, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
