Theresa R. Mallen, 81, native of Poughquag, NY, was called home peacefully on February 3, 2015 at Sharon Health Care Center, Sharon, CT.

Theresa was born in Pawling, NY on April 17, 1933 to the late Raymond and Helen (O’Dell) Davis. Theresa worked at the former Pawling Rubber Company, before she retired.

She is survived by her two sons, Burt Mallen and his wife Dawn, and Mark Mallen and his girlfriend Dawn Quattrone, all of Hopewell Junction, NY and her daughter, Beth Winch and her husband, Todd of Dover Plains, NY; her grandchildren Robert and Stephanie Mallen, Thomas Zemko, Brandi and Gina Perri and great-grandchildren Serina, Olivia, Charles, Cordero, Natalia, Madison, and Jayce; and her two sisters, Jean Jean of Danbury, CT and Audrey Hayton of Poughquag, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

Theresa is predeceased by her husband Howard (a.k.a. “Timmy”) Mallen, two sisters, Lillian Davis and Dottie Jacoby, and her brother, William Davis. She is also predeceased by her beautiful granddaughter, Cassandra Perri.

Theresa will always be remembered for the true angel that she was here on Earth. Her kindness, generosity, and love for her familyways be remembered for the true angel that she was here on Earth. Her kindness, generosity, and lovend her two s was “Bigger than the moon, the stars, and the sky”. She had a great love for country music, flowers, and crossword puzzles, and was the world’s biggest Mets fan.

“We now have another angel to watch over us”.

Family and friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling Friday, February 6th from 5-8 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Saturday at 10 AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Memory of Theresa may be made to the Pawling Fire Department.
