Iva M. (Howe) Thomas, age 94, formerly of Pawling, NY passed away peacefully on January 30, 2019, at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the beloved widow of Richard Thomas.
Iva was born July 1, 1924, in Cornwall, CT, a daughter of the late Fred and Grace Carolyn (Silvernail) Howe.
She leaves one daughter, Henrietta Petruccelli of Prospect, one son, Gordon Tompkins and his wife, Lisa of Bristol and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Gordon Tompkins, daughter, Mary Tompkins, granddaughter, Elizabeth Tompkins and sisters, Leona Bonhotel and Bobbi Wanklin.
Arrangements: A funeral service for Iva will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT 06708. Burial of cremains will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Waterbury. There are no calling hours.
