Teen arrested for felony drug possession in Lagrange

Lagrange, New York – On January 27, 2019, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested a seventeen-year-old for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree, a class C felony, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation.

On January 27, 2019, at approximately 3:48 a.m., Troopers conducted a vehicle and traffic stop on a 2007 Nissan Altima for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Lagrange.  An investigation found the seventeen-year-old was in possession of approximately 4.6 grams of cocaine and 1.2 grams of marijuana.

The suspect was arraigned before the town of Lagrange Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail, or $5,000 bond.
