Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro said, “We’re excited to have a music festival coming to the Hudson Valley Regional Airport. Especially as winter’s cold sinks in, it’s great to have something to look forward to this summer! The festival is sure to be a day packed with fun for the whole family—from music to activities, food trucks and more—so mark your calendar for June 29th.”

Chris Robinson Brotherhood is an American blues rock band formed in 2011 by Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson. Their newest album, “Barefoot in the Head,” marks their third studio release in just two years and features musical styles such as country, blues, psychedelia, and ‘60s folk. The band features guitarist Neal Casal, drummer Tony Leone, keyboardist Adam MacDougall, and bassist Jeff Hill.

The festival will begin at 11:30am. There will be a variety of food trucks and vendors selling beverages, including craft breweries and domestic beer options, helicopter rides, activities, sponsor displays, and an exclusive VIP Experience area with a hospitality lounge tent featuring complimentary snacks, all-you-can-eat hot buffet from 2pm – 8pm, desserts, coffee and discounted cash bar; comfortable seating; VIP Viewing Area; and private restrooms. VIP Experience tickets are limited to individuals 21 years of age or older. The festival also includes a “Tent Alley,” a section of 25 tents near the stage available for purchase offering concert goers a place to kick-back in the shade and listen to the music or relax between shows. Concert goers can also rent lockers to store valuables during the show. Tent and locker rentals and VIP Experience ticket packages are also available on the festival website.

Non-profit concert promoter CM-MC Festivals Inc., based in Hopewell Junction, puts a spin on their music events, “Concerts for a Cause.” A portion of the proceeds from the Tailwinds Music Festival will be donated to the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation.

“We know how important local non-profit organizations are and believe in giving back to the causes that are close to our concert goers’ hearts,” said Matt Cavaliere, Co-Founder of CM-MC Festivals, Inc. “We’re excited to work with Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation for the Tail Winds Music Fest and hope everyone will come and enjoy a day of food, activities, and music all while helping this great organization provide support and outreach to those affected by breast cancer within the Hudson Valley.”
