This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for eastern Ulster and Dutchess
Counties in east central New York.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

As light rainfall moves into the region, a brief period of freezing
rain cannot be ruled out this afternoon. Locally slick conditions are

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Steady rainfall and snowmelt will allow for rises on some rivers and
streams into Thursday. Although it is still somewhat uncertain,
minor river flooding cannot be ruled out. An isolated ice jam is
possible as well. If the potential for widespread flooding increases,
then a Flood Watch may be needed.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
