State Police Greenville (Orange County) are investigating a hit and run involving a pedestrian and an unknown vehicle. The incident occurred on January 8, 2019, between the time of 6:35 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Monahan Road in the town of Greenville.

On January 8, 2019, Robert Ruscher, age 62 of Greenville, NY, was on a morning run. He left his home on Rutger Creek Road and turned right onto Kurpick, then turned right onto Center Road, then a left onto Logtown Road and a left on County Route 1, and then onto Monahan Road. He then turned around on Monahan to return home. His last memory was seeing a vehicle in the vicinity of the 100 block of Monahan Road. Ruschner suffered a broken right ankle, a head injury, and several abrasions.

State Police are asking anyone with any information to contact the State Police in Greenville (Orange County) at 845-856-6440.
