Yonkers man arrested after driving to Cortlandt to initiate a domestic dispute

Cortlandt, New York – On January 12, 2019, the New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Anthony W. Perez, age 31, of Yonkers, NY, for Criminal Mischief in the 3rddegree, a class E felony, Menacing in the 2nd degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree, both class A misdemeanors.

On January 12, 23019, Troopers responded to Dogwood Road in the town of Cortlandt for a reported neighbor dispute.  An investigation by the Troopers discovered the suspect Perez arrived at the residence, engaged in a domestic dispute with the current resident, and engaged in a dispute with separate victim outside.  During the dispute Perez menaced the male victim outside with a baseball bat and broke several of his vehicle windows.

Perez was arraigned before the town of Cortlandt Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in leu of $1,500.00 cash bail or $5,000.00 bond.  Perez is next to appear before the Court on January 24, 2019, at 9:00 a.m.
