Interstate 84 and 684 closures in the town of Southeast

Southeast, New York – January 7, 2018, the New York State Police are currently investigating a collision between an oversized commercial vehicle and the Interstate 84 exit 20 overpass ramp.
A tractor trailer hauling an oversized modular home northbound on Interstate 684 struck the Interstate 84 overpass exit ramp at approximately 11:15 a.m.
Interstate 684 northbound is closed at exit 9W. Traffic is being detoured onto Interstate 84. The Interstate 84 exit 20 ramp is also closed to Interstate 684 southbound.
The duration for these closures is unknown at this time. Please avoid the area and find alternate routes.
