Local Students Named to Fall 2018 Dean’s List at Hudson Valley Community College

TROY, NY (01/04/2019)– More than 1,200 students were named to the Fall 2018 Dean’s List at Hudson Valley Community College.

Local students include:

Eric Ronis of Millbrook who is studying in the Radiologic Technology academic program.

Hunter Parks of Pine Plains who is studying in the Physical Education Studies academic program.

Taylor Ryan of Poughquag who is studying in the Non Matriculated academic program.

The Dean’s List recognizes those full-time students and part-time students registered for at least six college credits who have a term average of 3.00 to less than 3.50 and who received no grade of “D,” “F,” “I,” “Z,” or “W” on their record for that term. Students must have completed at least 12 college credits successfully.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 80 degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of nearly 11,500 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training. Hudson Valley has more than 75,000 alumni.
