Happy New Year from County Executive Marc Molinaro

Happy New Year from County Executive Marc Molinaro

As we turn the page on another year, we’re provided an opportunity to look back at the past 12 months — both our successes and struggles — and head into 2019 with a continued focus and dedication to serving each other.

Whether you interact with them in an office setting, at one of our many public events or out in the community, our devoted Dutchess County Government employees remain committed to serving you, the people of this great county. Whether plowing snow, keeping our streets safe, maintaining our award-winning parks, or providing countless other high-quality programs and services, our workforce is unparalleled, often toiling in anonymity for the benefit of their neighbors throughout Dutchess. That devotion to duty never takes a holiday, nor does it diminish with time. On the contrary, our employees continually go above and beyond to ensure the satisfaction of the residents they serve. I thank my 1,700+ co-workers, countless volunteers and the taxpayers who make Dutchess County a great place to live, work and raise a family. I’m confident we’ll reach new heights in 2019.

With a new year dawning, I wish you and your family every blessing, as well as the assurance your County government will continue to work hard to serve your needs. That call to service and commitment do our best permeates every department, division, and office, and it’s what makes us distinctly Dutchess. Service to each other has always defined this community and for that we should be grateful. Happy New Year!
