Amenia-Pine Plains Road Reopened to Traffic in Pine Plains

The Dutchess County Department of Public Works (DPW) has announced work on bridge PP-12 on Amenia-Pine Plains Road (CR 83) in the Town of Pine Plains is complete and the road has reopened to traffic.

Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Molinaro said, “We are grateful to motorists and residents for their patience as our Department of Public Works team has worked to reopen this bridge. Projects like this are vital to the maintenance and improvement of our county highway system, ensuring reliability and safety for residents and visitors.”

Bridge PP-12 project work began in September and involved replacing the existing bridge with a pre-cast structure and the addition of 4-foot shoulders. Final paving and minor landscape work will be completed in the spring. Amenia-Pine Plains Road averages approximately 430 vehicles per day.
