New York City man arrested for possession of a weapon and marijuana

Yonkers, New York – On December 18, 2018, the New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks arrested Solomon P. Duncan, age 22, of New York, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4^th degree, a class A misdemeanor, and Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 5^th degree, a class B misdemeanor.

At approximately 12:50 a.m., Troopers conducted a vehicle and traffic stop on a 2009 Hyundai Elantra for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law on Nepperhan Avenue in the city of Yonkers.  An investigation found Duncan who was a passenger in the vehicle possessed illegal metal knuckles and approximately 40 grams of marijuana.

Duncan was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the city of Yonkers Court on January 7, 2019, at 9:30 a.m.
