Elizabeth F. Prause
MILLERTON- Elizabeth F. Prause entered Heaven peacefully on December 3, 2018.
Elizabeth was born in Brookfield, CT on August 25, 1928, to George and Sarah Fitch. Elizabeth graduated from Bob Jones University and Middlebury College, earning an MA in French. She taught French at Bob Jones for 12 years prior to marriage.
Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and teacher serving faithfully at Millerton Christian Academy and as a pianist and organist at North East Baptist Church.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 56 years, Pastor Henry Prause, her children, Lois Stupke, Apphia (Tom) Rofe, and Michael (Wendy) Prause, 17 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, and brothers Curtis (Jane) Fitch, and Carlton (Kathy) Fitch. She was predeceased by her son Jonathan, brother Robert Fitch, and son-in-law Harmon Stupke.
Calling hours are Friday, December 14, 4:00 – 7:00 PM at 41 Main St, Sharon, CT. Memorial service on Saturday, December 15, at North East Baptist Church in Millerton at 11:00 AM.
