NEW PALTZ, NY (12/05/2018)– SUNY New Paltz students will present an original engineering design project at the fall 2018 Senior Design Review, on Dec. 7.

Members of the community are invited to see the creativity and passion of the next generation of engineers, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m., at Wooster Hall on the New Paltz campus.

Presenting students include:

Sean Cerven of Poughquag, New York

Peter Demertzis of Stormville, New York

The event is part of the Senior Design capstone experience for Electrical, Computer and Mechanical Engineering majors at New Paltz. Halfway through their design year, the student teams get feedback on their original projects from regional engineering professionals, faculty and peers.

Students work together in teams where different members contribute different skills, which allows for ambitious undertakings and the practice of real-world strategies and execution.
