Putnam Valley man arrested for robbery

Cortlandt, New York – November 29, 2018, the New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Kyle R. Heady, age 29, of Putnam Valley, NY, for Robbery in the 2nddegree, a class C felony, and Robbery in the 3rd degree, a class D felony.

On November 29, 2018, Troopers responded to Paulding Lane in the town of Cortlandt for a report of a stolen vehicle and money.  An investigation revealed Heady arrived at the home of a prior domestic partner and forcibly stole the victim’s car as well as forced the victim to write out a check in the amount of $300.00.

Heady was arraigned before the town of Cortlandt Court, and remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail.  Heady was next scheduled to appear before the Court on December 3, 2018, at 9:00 a.m.
