On November 29th 2018 at 9:43 AM, Officers were dispatched to an address on Cherry Lane for the report of two males, in hooded sweatshirts, driving a long white box truck, that had just stolen packages from a neighbors house. Police Officer Daniel Didato was in the area and located the suspects and vehicle a short distance from the area where the theft had been reported. With the assistance of Police Officer Ralph Bertoldi and Detectives Kyle Doughty and Mark Didato, investigation revealed that Albert Ulloa-Pichado, age 24, from Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania and Steven A. Baez-Tapia, age 19, from New York City were responsible for the thefts. Mr. Ulloa-Pichardo and Mr. Baez-Tapia were both charged with Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fifth degree. Both subjects were arraigned by the Honorable Judge Frederick Romig and remanded to Dutchess County Jail pending a future court date.
