DCC to Stage ‘In the Heights’ Nov. 9-11, 16-18
November 7, 2018 – “In the Heights” will be staged Nov. 9-11 and 16-18 by members of the Dutchess Community College Performing Arts program and students in DCC’s Masquers’ Guild Theatre Club. The show will be directed by AnnChris Warren with musical direction by Elizabeth Gerbi.
Show times for Friday and Saturday shows, Nov. 9, 10, 16 and 17, are 8 p.m. Sunday show times, Nov. 11 and 18, are 2 p.m. All performances will be held in the James and Betty Hall Theatre on DCC’s main Poughkeepsie campus.
“In the Heights,” a winner of multiple 2008 Tony Awards, tells the story of a vibrant community in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood and features music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Tickets will be available at the door 30 minutes before each performance. General admission is $10; senior citizens and students are $5; free for DCC students with ID.
