Accidental lockdown initiated at John Jay High School in Lewisboro

Lewisboro, New York – On November 1, 2018, the New York State Police responded to John Jay High School to assist the School Resource Officer with an accidental lock down initiation.
It appears at this time the emergency procedure was accidentally initiated by a staff member. The SRO and State Police responded to the emergency call, and quickly determined there was no threat to the safety of any member of the student body, staff, or community.
