Woman arrested for cocaine possession in New Castle

PRESS RELEASE
New Castle, New York – On October 26, 2018, the New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks arrested Jennifer A. Lamp, age 40, of New Castle, for Criminal Possession of Cocaine in the 5th degree, a class D felony.

On October 26, 2018, at approximately 9:30 p.m., on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of New Castle Troopers conducted a vehicle and traffic stop on a 2014 Dodge Charger for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  An investigation found Lamp, a passenger in the vehicle, possessed approximately 1.2 grams of cocaine.

Lamp was arraigned before the New Castle Court, and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,500 bond.  Lamp is next scheduled to appear before the Court on November 1, 2018, at 7:00 p.m.
