Nationally Acclaimed Musicians Munro, Parris & Vitarello To Perform for Hunt Hill Farm Benefit

The Super Session – 3 Musicians – 1 Great Afternoon of Music

 

New Milford, CT Oct 10th Three amazing nationally renowned musicians Doug Munro, Gil Parris and Chris Vitarello will perform a benefit concert on October 27, 2018 at 3pm to support the Hunt Hill Farm’s nonprofit programs and workshops for children, youths and families across food, art and music. Because of the national notoriety of the three musicians, the benefit concert is being labeled the “Super Session- 3 Musicians and 1 Great Afternoon”. These events celebrate the power of bringing people together to hear music across jazz, blues and rock and to celebrate community.

The benefit concert is a part of Hunt Hill all day Pumpkin Festival with pumpkin carving, drumming circle by John Marshall with local breweries offering craft beer. The concert starts at 3pm and cost $30 per ticket are going to support the scholarships programs offered at Hunt Hill in acting, drawing, painting, songwriting, music performance and cooking.

Titled the “Super Session” as three musicians come together to play to raise money for Hunt Hill:

Doug Munro – Master musician and guitar virtuoso established veteran of the New York music scene w/ over 17 albums;

Gil ParrisGrammy-nominated NYC guitar virtuoso, Gil Parris, blends jazz, blues, and rock into his own, eclectic sound.

Chris Vitarello – Inducted into the Blues Hall of fame in 2013, Chris has been a band member, recorded or shared the stage with many legendary blues artists and has appeared on 30 plus albums.

Hunt Hill music performances includes opportunities for increased exposure for local artists and musicians through features at open mic night, performances, exhibition and special events. 

The Hunt Hill Farm Concert Series are fund-raising events, with proceeds from ticket sales, food & brew, as well as from private donations, corporate sponsors, monthly giving programs to support the workshops, scholarship program to allow area children and seniors attend our programs. Hunt Hill has been bringing opportunities to learn and to explore music, arts, and food in the local community for over 45 years. Hunt Hill is becoming the music hub of Litchfield county with open mic night every Thursday, song writers’ series and concert series to support both local as well as nationally recognized artists. Definitely THE place to experience music scene.”
