Union Vale woman arrested for felony drug possession and sales

PRESS RELEASE
Union Vale, New York – On October 8, 2018, the New York State Police from the Troop K Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET), SP Poughkeepsie and SP Brewster, in conjunction with the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office, arrested Meredithe C. Morrow-Beach, age 44, of Union Vale, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rddegree with Intent to Sell, both class B felonies.

Morrow-Beach was located after being reported as a missing endangered adult to the State Police on October 3, 2018.  Please see (https://www.nyspnews.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=64802) for further.

When located, Morrow-Beach was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Dutchess County Court stemming from a narcotics investigation led by Troop K CNET and the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office.  The investigation found Morrow-Beach involved in the sale and possession of both cocaine and fentanyl.

Morrow-Beach was taken into custody at Putnam Hospital, and then remanded to the Dutchess County Jail pursuant to the County Court indictment.  Morrow-Beach was next scheduled to appear before the Dutchess County Court on October 10, 2018, at 9:00 a.m.
