Obituary, Evelyn Baxter

Evelyn June Baxter, 90, of Wassaic, NY, left her body on Monday, September 17, 2018, at her residence with her family by her side. Mrs. Baxter was a retired chef of 44 yrs. She was an advocate and senior companion volunteer @ TDDSO for 23 years.

Born on June 17, 1928 in Ossining, NY, she was the daughter of the late Franz Daniel and Ethel Grace (Travis) Kirstein, Sr. In addition to her parents she is predeceased in death by David Robert Baxter, Freda Anne Sheats, Lisa Marie Edwards, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Kirstein, Franz Daniel Kirstein, Jr. and two nieces.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Bette Jo Baxter, Mr. & Mrs. Warren Kishbaugh, Mr. & Mrs. Edward Kishbaugh, Mr. & Mrs. Gloria Papelian, 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren. Surviving siblings, Mrs. Shirley Knapp, Mr & Mrs. Charles Kirstein, Sr., Mrs. Joyce Cassetta, 7 nieces, and 7 nephews.
