Year of the Veteran Parade – Let’s Line the Route!

Do you have an hour this Sunday, September 30th, to thank the veterans who’ve kept us safe? You’re invited to Dutchess County’s “Year of the Veteran” Parade along Market and Main streets, a celebration of the brave men and women who have protected our nation for generations.

Year of the Veteran Parade

The parade steps off from Market Street at 1 p.m. and proceeds down Main Street, concluding with a celebration at Waryas Park with fun activities for the entire family. We sincerely hope you and your family can come out for this inspirational event that will be our community’s tribute to those who safeguard our liberty.

Veterans from every municipality in Dutchess County will take part in the parade, as will groups like the Boys Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of the United States of America, the National Guard and the Spackenkill High School Marching Band.

Let’s show our veterans how much we respect them and appreciate their sacrifices. We hope you’ll join us in giving these courageous men and women the thanks they deserve!
