DESCRIPTION: …FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING…
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of northwestern Connecticut and east central New York,
including the following areas, in northwestern Connecticut,
Litchfield County. In east central New York, Dutchess and
Eastern Ulster Counties.
* Through Thursday morning.
* Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected this evening
into Thursday morning. With a very moist air mass in place,
occasional heavy rainfall will occur with localized rainfall
amounts of greater than two inches possible. Already saturated
ground conditions due to heavy rainfall earlier today could
result in flash flooding.

INSTRUCTIONS: A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
