State Police in Kinderhook seek public’s assistance in solving numerous larcenies from unlocked vehicles

Kinderhook, New York – September 12, 2018, the New York State Police from the Kinderhook barracks seek the public’s assistance with numerous complaints of stolen property from unlocked vehicles in the Valatie and Kinderhook areas.

Targeted vehicles have been left unlocked during the overnight hours with valuables left inside.  Items stolen have included money, pocketbooks, wallets, and electronic devices.

The State Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles always and to move their valuables out of sight.

The State Police ask any victim that has not yet reported their incident to the police or anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of persons responsible to please contact the State Police at (845) 677-7300.
