State Police conduct Underage Drinking Initiative in Hyde Park and Poughkeepsie

Hyde Park, New York – On September 1, 2018, the New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks conducted an Underage Drinking Initiative in the towns of Hyde Park and Poughkeepsie.  During the operation four retail establishments were cited for selling alcoholic beverages to an undercover State Police operative under the age of twenty-one:

Valero – 433 Violet Ave, Hyde Park, NY 12538
Abdallah Alghananim, age 30, of Poughkeepsie, NY, arrested for Unlawfully Dealing with a Minor, a class A misdemeanor, and issued appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Hyde Park Court on September 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.

Shell – 4152 Route 9 Hyde Park, NY 12538
Alex Martinez, age 17, of Poughkeepsie, NY, arrested for Unlawfully Dealing with a Minor, a class A misdemeanor, and issued appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Hyde Park Court on September 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.

Sunoco – 381 Route 9G Poughkeepsie NY 12603 (T/Hyde Park)
Sai Rohit Ravipati, age 24, of Poughkeepsie, NY, arrested for Unlawfully Dealing with a Minor, a class A misdemeanor, and issued appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Hyde Park Court on September 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.

K&D Deli – 848 Route 9G, Hyde Park, NY 12538
Elizabeth Slobodin, age 17, of Hyde Park, NY, arrested for Unlawfully Dealing with a Minor, a class A misdemeanor, and issued appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Hyde Park Court on September 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.

Fourteen additional establishments were checked and found to be in compliance.
