Trade Commission Decision on Newsprint Tariffs
Kinderhook, NY – Congressman John Faso (R-Kinderhook) today released a statement following the International Trade Commission’s Decision to Block Newsprint Tariffs:
“People across Upstate New York depend on local newspapers to know what is going on in their communities,” said Faso. “These tariffs threatened to cause irreversible damage to local newspapers, which already operate under thin margins. I applaud the International Trade Commission’s decision. This is a good day for the people of Upstate New York and the hardworking employees of local newspapers.”
