One of the biggest differences between me and Donald Trump enabler Terrence Murphy is our stance on voting rights. I support making voting easier, with same-day registration, early voting, and voting by mail.
Terrence Murphy has proposed a Voter ID bill, that not only would reduce voter participation, but would disenfranchise historically marginalized groups such as Hispanic and African-American voters. This is a move right out of the Jim Crow south, and does not reflect the values of voters in the Hudson Valley.
