Endorsements from the Working Families Party and New York State United Teachers (NYSUT)
Kingston, NY – Our campaign is proud to announce that the Working Families Party and NYSUT have endorsed Antonio Delgado for Congress in New York’s 19th congressional district. Earlier today, at a standing-room only press conference in Kingston, members from both groups announced their support.
“The Working Families Party is proud to endorse Antonio Delgado for Congress,” said Phillip Leber of the Working Families Party. “Antonio will fight for the rights of people in our region and put their interests first over big corporations or special interests. He has proven to be a strong advocate for working families by showing up and listening to their concerns, committing to work towards universal healthcare and better paying jobs, and being accountable to the people here. We look forward to working with Antonio to help bring real change to our region.”
“NYSUT is proud to recommend Antonio Delgado for Congress for endorsement,” said NYSUT President Andy Pallotta. “Antonio understands that a high-quality public education is the key to creating opportunities for our children. He understands the need to invest in our public schools and make sure that every child receives the education they deserve. We look forward to supporting his campaign and working together.”
