State Police member injured in one-car crash in Columbia County

The New York State Police in Livingston are investigating a one-car crash involving a state police patrol vehicle, on State Route 9 in the town of Stockport.
On August 7, 2018, at approximately 11:15 p.m., a marked state police patrol vehicle, operated by Trooper Theresa Filippini, was traveling southbound when the vehicle went off State Route 9 in the area of the Columbiaville bridge, struck and embankment and tree, then overturned.
Trooper Filippini, the only occupant of the vehicle, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Albany Medical Center. Trooper Filippini was treated and released.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
