Earlier this morning Putnam Lake Fire Department was dispatched mutual aid to Brewster Fire Department fire district for a reported vehicle fire post motor vehicle accident on Milltown Rd at West King Street. Upon arrival, units found a vehicle that struck a utility pole and caught fire. Luckily the driver escaped without injury. NYSEG responded to the scene to shut down the power and make it safe for our crews to operate. The fire was extinguished after the power was cut. Town of Patterson EMS and EMStar Medic 4 cleared the patient of any injuries.
